This is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath direct ocean facing condo on a high floor at the Tides on Hollywood Beach. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from your bedroom floor to ceiling window and private terrace. Here you will enjoy the exclusive residents' beach club and pool. And the unrivaled amenities and aesthetics afforded by more than $20 million in renovations. Stroll the beach and then swim laps in the secluded heated pool, taking in the exotic landscaping and spectacular views of the ocean. Or head for the state-of-the-art fitness center. Enjoy movies in the top of the art movie theater or relax in the sophisticated social and pool room. Close to the exciting Hollywood Beach boardwalk where you will find many outdoor cafes, restaurants and shops. There is live entertainment at the bandstand on the boardwalk on weekends. Just a 15 minute drive to South Beach or 10 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale, 15 minutes to the Aventura Mall and 40 minutes to Sawgrass Mills.

The Tides will charge guests $30 per fob at check in. Fobs are small electronic devices used to unlock the doors to the common areas. You will be required to purchase at least one fob for every two members of your party 16 years or older upon arrival.   They will also give you wristbands to be worn for access to the pool area.   

THE BUILDING HAS IMPOSED SIGNIFICANT HANDLING FEES FOR PACKAGES RECEIVED FOR GUESTS. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING ALL HANDLING CHARGES FOR YOUR PACKAGES.  WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUARANTEEING RATES CHARGED.

  This apartment was a great place for the four of us to stay. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and were just steps away from the beach and pool. We were provided with beach chairs and umbrellas to use on the beach. The apartment provided everything we needed for our stay. The sleeping spaces fit our needs with a bed for each of our children in the guest and the king size bed in the main bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves during our stay. Everything was clean and tidy. The management was responsive to our needs and were quick to answer any questions and provide suggestions for us. We would definitely stay here again.

  Our stay was very nice. The Tides Condo made the initial experience very cumbersome. The process to obtain the Parking Permit, and the Key Fobs for the building were held in a different building. The cost quoted for these was significantly higher than pre-announced.
  It was cumbersome to have a friend visit for 2 days. We enjoyed our stay daily. The pool was just lovely and easy to access.

We sat on the beach and patio every day. Other than clothes and food everything else was provided. We were 5 minutes from the Hollywood boardwalk and 30 mins from miami and the FLL airport.   Ben was great to work with from the beginning of reservations to our departure. Very personable and helpful with everything, and answered all of my questions. Checking in and out is a little tricky in obtaining parking pass and getting key fob. Not your normal condo arrival and departure. Obtaining parking pass at the building next door, then going through some doors to a hallway to the receiving office to pay fees and get key fob is totally a pain. Definitely needs a better way. This could be avoided if each building would give parking pass and key fob at check in. Not on a wild goose chase. Overall, beautiful sunrise from the master bedroom!!

  We are so happy we booked this property. It was clean and we felt very safe. In the property there was a full kitchen, TVs, beach toys and beach towels. The view was amazing. It is the exact view you see in the picture off the balcony, but the view from the master bedroom is even better. Loved it.
  The property is located in a great area with access to shopping, dining and the boardwalk. If we go to this area of Florida again we will certainly book here again!

  The condo did not disappoint, although I will not comment on the check in/out process.
  Every room was clean....even the white tile floors. Spacious enough...and loved having two bathrooms. Plenty of towels and beach amenities (chairs, toys, wave boards....and even coolers). The AC worked with no issues. Even though the room is on the 14th floor, we really had no issues with the elevators. The wait was never long enough to be bothersome.
  We had a car rental but used the electric shuttle trolly car half the time being it was so convenient to not have to find and pay for parking. It costs a dollar for each person each way. The average time we had to wait was about 10;minutes for a ride. We had some outstanding food during our visit. Nice pool and easy beach access.

  The owner Ben was absolutely wonderful and helped to ensure we felt safe and comfortable. The building however was not what we were expecting. It's a bit run down and VERY far from south beach Miami. Was 45 min Uber ride everywhere. The building was so strict about the service enterence ans mask. We ended up getting a fine because they CLAIM they warned us when we were never approached. The people at the security desk were often rude and not helpful when checking in. It was not the best experience by any means. The condo itself was nicely remodeled and Ben was great to deal with. But unfortunately the only 2 good things about the rental. Great for maybe famlies? But if looking to experience night life its too far out.

  My wife and I treated our newly-married son and his wife to a stay in South Florida. The condo was very clean and Ben happily answered all of my questions. He provided dining recommendations and our conversation was enjoyable as speaking with a relative with whom you have not seen in a while and with whom you were happy to reconnect. There were clean linens, beach towels, beach supplies to use and I thought the disposable masks he provided were a great idea, since I wear a cloth mask and was dreading getting sand and saltwater in it. I did not have to. We did not have noise from neighboring occupants and the views from the balcony and master bedroom were breathtaking, even though it was rainy most of the time we were there. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. The security/parking attendants were nice and helpful. The check-in process was strange, having to go to the Receiving Department, which functions as their main office. Make sure all members of your party are present for the wristbands - they will not give them for members who are not present. This resulted in a return trip to Receiving. There was a $20 cash-only deposit for a parking pass. The awkward check-in was a minor bump in the road. The staff who sat behind the desk in the front lobby were rude. Rude to other guests in their tone scolding them about having to wait until the staff pushed the button to allow them access to the elevators. They did not smile and were not helpful. When we asked to leave our parking pass with them since we had an 11:00 A.M. flight and Receiving did not open until 9:00 A.M. (a 20-minute drive to the airport, rental car to return and airport security ahead of us), we were told "You can't do that" and I would have to wait until 9:00. They were unapologetic and stoic. That is not "guest services." I understand policy, but an "I'm sorry, but we cannot take it" and some sympathy goes a long way. We would definitely stay at Ben's place if we return to South Florida. Kudos Ben!

  Me and a friend greatly enjoyed our time at Tides. The condo was exactly as written in the description - clean and spacious. Great view from the balcony and from the master bedroom. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and a starter supply of paper products. The condo pool was heated and area clean. There are rentals on the beach for chairs and umbrellas. The Hollywood Boardwalk is a couple of miles away, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a Lyft ride. Manager of the condo was easily reached via text and phone. Recommended!

  The condo is as described. The owner was available and helpful. The property was clean and maintained. I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons. The condo sleeps six people we were a family of 4. There is a sofa and 2 chairs in the living room, but the chairs are not comfortable so we really could not seat as a family and relax in the living room together. There is no chair in the master bedroom to sit and relax separately. The condo is in Hollywood but not within walking distance to Hollywood boardwalk where there are restaurants, bike rentals and other activities. We would have preferred to be within walking distance. This was my fault for not doing more research before renting. The owner supplied beach chairs and umbrella and this was appreciated and very helpful. As described on previous posts the fob process is annoying. The apartment building charges you $20 for a fob so you can enter the grounds from the beach and get into the pool and fitness center. The $20 is not refundable. So since we had 2 teenagers traveling with us, they wanted their own fob but we only went to the pool/beach at the condo 1 1/2 days we paid $40 for two fobs and really should have only purchased 1. The rental company needs to rethink this process. It would have been better if one fob was supplied with rental and if we needed an additional one we could purchase. The apartment complex is making a lot of money on these fobs. Wasteful and expensive.

  This was our 2nd stay in The Tides 14E and it never disappoints!!! The ocean view from the master bedroom is absolutely stunning! The condo overall is spacious with great amenities and always spotless. The management team is just a call away and always willing to assist. If you are looking for the perfect spot near Hollywood Beach this is it!

  Upon our arrival there was some confusion. We didn’t realize we were at The Tides location next door. That could have been a little clearer in the instructions. I didn’t even know there was two buildings, we just turned in at The Tides sign. And you have to pay for the amenities fob, you do not get a free one. I think I misunderstood that.
  
  The beach are is pretty relaxed. The sand isn’t soft, so be sure to make provision for beach lounge/umbrella rental. While the property does have some chairs and an umbrella for use, they won’t keep you off the gritty sand.
  
  As far as the kitchen ... this was one of the reasons we wanted a rental vs. a hotel. We wanted the luxury of cooking and eating a lil’ cheaper. Unfortunately, they didn’t even have a standard size cookie sheet, baking/casserole dish, or a crock pot. There were plenty of plates and cups, but nothing to really cook with. The pans were very cheap, so be prepared to do some scrubbing if you’re a cook.
  
  Shower water pressure is horrible. I know this isn’t under the control of the owner, but it would have been helpful for me to know. I, like many, have incredibly thick, course hair. Trying to wash sand and shampoo out of it was a daily struggle.
  
  Now for the up sell ... the view from the bedroom cannot be best. You basically feel like you’re on a boat when you wake up because all you can see from the bed is ocean and skyline. Simply beautiful!!!

  Location was incredible. View of the water from the master bedroom was the most gorgeous ever. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Everything was in good working order. Beach toys and chairs were a nice touch. The only critiques I have are that The place could use a touch up paint job, and we paid for “valet” but It was completely self park. Adding An iron/ ironing board, a DVD player in the living room (for rainy days) and some box fans are some small things that would’ve made the place even more perfect. Plenty of towels and linens. Super comfortable for me, my wife and our two teenage sons. We will definitely be back!
