The State of Florida and local governments have approved the safe re-opening of vacation rentals. Our properties are clean, safe and ready for guest's arrival. We have taken steps to include CDC enhanced cleaning protocols and safety measures in our housekeeping procedures and on our cleaning checklists, including steam cleaning all hard surfaces, mattresses, sofas, etc. to kill any germs. Beaches, pools, retail stores, restaurants and most service businesses have now opened, in accordance with CDC guidelines and governmental regulations. Social distancing, use of masks in common areas and other safety precautions have been put in place to insure guests have a safe environment.

This is a large and comfortable 2 bedroom, 1550 sq. ft., 2 bath (sleeps 6) with city and partial ocean views on the 5th floor at the Tides on Hollywood Beach. Enjoy partial ocean views from your living room private terrace. Here you will enjoy the exclusive residents' beach club and pool. And the unrivaled amenities and aesthetics afforded by more than $20 million in building renovations. Stroll the beach, and then swim laps in the secluded heated pool, taking in the exotic landscaping and spectacular views of the ocean. Head for the state-of-the-art fitness center or lounge on the pool deck overlooking the ocean. Close to the exciting Hollywood Beach boardwalk where you will find many outdoor cafes, restaurants and shops. There is live entertainment at the bandstand on the boardwalk on weekends. Just a 15 minute drive to South Beach or 10 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale, 15 minutes to the Aventura Mall and 40 minutes to Sawgrass Mills.

A $20.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR THE PARKING PASS WILL BE COLLECTED AT CHECK IN.  (Retrieve your deposit refund the day prior to departure if you will be leaving before 9:00AM.) 

The Tides will charge guests $20 per fob at check in (PRICE IS GOOD THROUGH 12/31/21). EFFECTIVE 12:00AM 1/1/2022 THE RATE FOR FOBS WILL INCREASE TO $30.00 EACH.  

Fobs are small electronic devices used to unlock the doors to the common areas. You will be required to purchase at least one fob for every two members of your party 16 years or older upon arrival.   They will also give you wristbands to be worn for access to the pool area.   

THE BUILDING HAS IMPOSED SIGNIFICANT HANDLING FEES FOR PACKAGES RECEIVED FOR GUESTS. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING ALL HANDLING CHARGES FOR YOUR PACKAGES.  WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUARANTEEING RATES CHARGED.

CONTRACT: A CONTRACT WILL BE SENT TO YOU UPON BOOKING FOR YOU TO COMPLETE AND SIGN

  The apartment, building and amenities are all very nice. The apartment has everything you need for four people to stay comfortably. The building is right on the beach. Literally walk across the pool deck and you're there. The beach was very clean and spacious. The pool is very nice and had plenty of chairs. The local shuttle takes you quite a few places for $2 a person and is easy to use through the app.
  
  The only drawbacks are proximity to the boardwalk, aka, you can't walk there, but for $2 it's really quick. We also didn't find many food / drink options for us to walk to. Neither of these issues are deal breakers, we would both stay there again and recommend this to friends & family.

  Thankfully they let us cancel last minute when we had COVID last fall. We had to use the credit before end of November. We weren’t able to book the original condo. It was clean and had a lot of nice things that helped our family at the beach with young kids. The main guy was helpful anytime I messaged him about something. Only thing I would add would be the condo could use some updates as some parts of the condo appeared to be older. But overall a great stay and we loved Hollywood and access to the pool and beach.

  This was my first time renting a vacation rental. The pictures of the property was spot on. The air went out on our second night and it was not fixed prior to my check out and that made our last 2 nights slightly uncomfortable. The property manager sent someone but that person never showed. The tv in the master bedroom did not work and there were chips on the bedroom floor under the bed, but other than that I would recommend the property.

  My family was really impressed with the beautiful apartment! It is immaculately clean with modern, comfortable furnishings and everything you might need during your stay. Aside from the unit itself, the main pro is the ocean-front location. We also enjoyed the pool and on-site cafe. The location has many nearby restaurants (Patagonia across the street has quick, delicious empanadas!) but few shops or other activities.
  
  The primary con for this rental is the unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming check-in procedures. It’s a multi-step check-in involving the back office next door, parking fee, and resort fees for the mandatory fobs needed to move through the building. All of this is after needing to provide documentation weeks in advance.
  
  These would not be as much of an issue on a long-term stay, but for a short stay I found they took up too much of my time. For a family who needs the 3rd bed, wants to cook and/or is planning a longer home-away-from-home experience, this could be a great spot for you.

  Overall had a wonderful time in this Hollywood, Fl condo. Condo and building are not new but clean and safe. Condo was well stocked with a FULL kitchen and many beach toys. We only dealt with property management. Check in information was timely and thorough with many steps to get required key fobs and parking pass from a different building. It was still confusing when we got there but we figured it out eventually. There was some confusion about us checking in after hours (which we were not) but they got the condo cleaned for our regular 1500 check in. We appreciated the text the morning of check in and later that day to make sure everything was OK. They also gave us some ideas for walkable restaurants. Hollywood board walk was super fun and not to be missed. Its 2 miles and $10 Uber ride away. Granted we were there the week of many college Spring Breaks but Parking all around Hollywood Beach is essentially non existent. Condo's deck overlooks parking lot but can easily see ocean to the east as advertised. We had to be at pool by 0900 or chairs were all taken with towels. There were signs everywhere saying no reserving chairs greater than 30 minutes. I appreciated how security came around picking up towels off chairs if people were not there. This only occured one day out of our 6 night stay though. Beach was beautiful but PACKED our week. Able to rent loungers on beach for $15/day

  The condo was fully stocked with everything you may need in a kitchen. There were also beach chairs, large cooler and sand cart. Great family destination and the property management company (Ben & Mario) was very pleasant to work with. Can't wait to visit again!

  The apartment needed a few maintenance. Toilet flush didn’t work well, a few lamps missing, the mattresses not very confortable, and the curtains in tboth bedrooms didn’t cover the morning light.
  Other than that, was clean, had everything we needed to spend the week, and location wise is fantastic. So, yes I will come back. Maybe to a different apartment

  Nice location and apartment but disappointed with surprisingly high fees not previously announced, for fobs, parking, pool wristbands, laundry and parking tags totalling over 170$. Also was sad to find out we could not invite a local cousin to spend the day, as visitors are not allowed access to building or pool even for a few hours. Otherwise the accommodations were very nice, apartment was stocked with everything needed, the pool was nice and beach access was excellent.

  The condo was older than I thought . The chair in the living area was broken on one side . Had to sit carefully. The 2nd bathroom toilet ran every 10 minutes and was very loud . Had to close the door to tolerate it. The towels and wash clothes were old . The wash cloths were so rough it felt like exfoliating . I Bourguiba some at Walmart for all of us . The little store restaurant had expired items and wasn’t open early or late . I think this facility is more for older individuals like retired people. Not a young adult/kid place at all. The check in process should be simpler .
